Message from the Chief
Welcome
to the Van Buren Police Department's website. During recent years, we have made great
strides that have improved the way we police the community. This
website is one of those improvements.
Our department has been established since the 1800s.
From its inception, the department has fostered a relationship with
the community. There is much in this world that we have no control
over; in many cases we can only watch the outcome. It is imperative
that you, the citizens of Van Buren understand that you can make a
difference in many instances. Some outcomes depend upon your
involvement and assistance to the police department. We encourage you
to be proactive. Get involved! Support law enforcement.
